My doctor wanted me to go to another therapy center. Do I have a choice?
Yes! Patients have the right to chose where to go for therapy just like you choose which pharmacy or lab you want to go to for services.
Do I need a physician referral to be seen?
No, you do not need a physician referral to be seen in the state of Texas, however most insurance companies will only cover your visits with a physician signature agreeing with the plan of care estabilished by a physical therapist. We are in constant contact with your phsyician to make sure this happens. But as always, it is good for you to contact your doctor/provider to keep him or her in the loop.
I have a high deductible how much will I have to pay for my physical therapy services?
High deductibles are a common challenge with healthcare today where patients have to pay first for a portion of their medical care before their insurance kicks in. We want to make sure you get the care you need without worrying about the cost. We not only have payment plans, we offer Care Credit and we have affordable cash pay options if you chose not to use your insurance (aside from Medicare). ALWAYS come talk to us if you have any questions!
What if I don't have insurance?
No insurance, no problem. Again, in these cases we offer affordable cash pay rates, Care Credit and also package deals making your care extra affordable! If you want to break up your payments over three months we can do so with a credit card on file.
Can you just accept my insurance and not collect my co-pay or co-insurance?
What is the difference between a co-payment and co-insurance?
Patient responsibilities are either a flat dollar amount at each visit that is considered a co-payment OR a percentage of contracted rates which is a co-insurance, once you have met the deductible.
Does your office verify my insurance so I know what my physical therapy benefits will be?
Yes! As a courtesy to our patients, we verify insurance benefits and submit claims on your behalf. This helps reduce your burden and saves you time and stress in dealing with insurance companies. We always encourage you to call your insurance company with any questions about your coverage as you will get more accurate information than they will give us. From time to time, insurance companies have been known to give us inaccurate benefit information so it's always good to call them directly.
Is your clinic more affordable that hospital-based outpatient therapy clinics?
Yes! In most cases, our services are significantly more affordable than hospital outpatient therapy. Because we’re a privately owned clinic, we’re able to keep overhead costs lower and pass those savings on to our patients. You’ll receive exceptional care—with lower copays, lower coinsurance rates, and fewer billing surprises.
